About
Cricket Performance Collective
How We Came About
Many cricketers fall into the gap between medical care, coaching, and performance planning.
CPC was created to help bridge that gap, providing clear, evidence-based guidance so athletes can train consistently, manage injuries sensibly, and make better long-term decisions about their development.
We support players, parents, coaches, and organisations with expert advisory guidance, applied performance support, and practical frameworks that improve injury management, return-to-play decisions, and long-term performance planning. At CPC, being available to train and play comes first, because performance can only happen when athletes are on the field.
Cricket Performance Collective is led by Jolandi Jacobs, sports physiotherapist and performance practitioner working in high-performance cricket.
Jolandi has experience supporting athletes across injury management, return-to-play decision-making, and performance development within elite and pathway environments. Her work integrates clinical reasoning, applied performance practice, and evidence-informed frameworks, with a focus on sustaining athlete availability alongside performance progression.
She has a particular professional interest in:
performance availability and injury recurrence
female athlete health and performance in cricket
fast bowling load management, durability, and return-to-bowl decision-making
In addition to applied practice, Jolandi is actively involved in research and framework development, with work focused on translating evidence into practical systems that support real-world decision-making in cricket.
Her approach reflects an integrated model of care, aligning medical, physical preparation, and performance considerations to support long-term athlete development.
